January 28, 2010

1st place: Rudy Tosto

3rd place: Fran Rosco

Our competition at Summerwood Village featured 27 Wii Golfers battling for the medals. The final round was so close and everyone played very well!

We had two residents that had never played before get a hole in one during the National Finals. Five residents had never played Wii Golf before; one of them was Rudy Tosto and he won first place!

Today we will be having the Sherwood Park Karate Club come in and help hand out medals before Dinner. Dwayne Cannon came in for entertainment this afternoon; all the residents danced and had some great cake! Two information booths were set up as well Deb D’onoghue with “LioSophia Jewerly” and Chris Kastar with Bank of Montreal.

Lastly, SHAW television came and interviews two of our residents here and SHAW will be broadcasting them tonight between 4:30pm to 5:30pm (mountain time)!

“It is kind of too bad this is our second last day of the Senior Games… we should have it for two weeks. “

Our golf competition at Rutherford Heights featured 10 golfers teeing off for a chance at the medals.
