CANADA’S SENIORS READY TO PLAY For the third year in a row, All Seniors Care is set to launch the 2012 All Seniors Care Seniors Games, Feb. 6-10, 2012 at its 16 Retirement Residences across the country. From Edmonton to Winnipeg to Gatineau, hundreds of seniors across the country will be walking and Wii-ing, playing bocce and board games in an effort to keep active, stay healthy, and have fun! “The Games are part of our commitment to provide seniors with innovative ways to maintain an active and vibrant lifestyle,” explains Joshua Kuhl, Senior Executive VP of Operations for All Seniors Care. “We believe strongly in helping people stay active by providing a venue for active living, especially in a friendly and caring social setting.” All events will be held indoors, with the fun getting underway at around 10:30am each day and will feature a competition, awards ceremony, food and special guests. Day 1: The Walk About Day 2: Wii Bowling Day 3: Board Games, Card Games & Trivia Day 4: Wii Golf Day 5: Billiards and Bocce Since this year also marks the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, during the Games’ Opening Ceremony, seniors, guests and dignitaries will participate in a singing of “God Save the Queen” followed by a special toast, given by the Chef de Mission.
