All Seniors Care Expands Portfolio of Seniors Facilities

$65 million acquisition in Gatineau, Quebec highlights growth strategy
All Seniors Care Living Centres Ltd. (All Seniors Care), a growing provider of quality retirement residence living centres, today announced it is expanding its presence across Canada with the acquisition of a development portfolio of four senior living centres in Gatineau, Quebec. This new senior’s community will be made up of a Retirement Residence, a Care facility and two Seniors apartment buildings totaling 470 units. In addition, a large amount of commercial space, sufficient to accommodate both medical and pharmaceutical facilities is planned. The project is expected to be completed in 2008 with a total construction cost in excess of $65 million. “We are excited by this new venture and are pleased to be able to offer so many services to seniors in one location” said George Kuhl, President and Chief Executive Officer of All Seniors Care.”
The Quebec portfolio, known as Résidence de la Gappe, is located on Boulevard de la Gappe in Gatineau. The Retirement Residence is now open and offers spacious suites, large common areas, fine dining and an in-house pharmacy and medical clinic. The Care centre will open in May, 2007 followed by the Seniors apartments in early 2008.
Each facility will provide an array of services along the continuum of care to enhance the seniors’ lifestyles. While each facility will cater to its residents needs, they will all differ in the approach to aging in place. From independent to assisted living and dedicated nursing care, a resident will be able to age in place in each of the four different facilities ensuring that all their needs and concerns are attended to with the utmost dignity and respect.
