Sturgeon Creek I Retirement Residence

At Sturgeon Creek we had 71 walkers trekking through the halls, putting themselves to the test to see what their final distance would be.

We were thrilled to have two tenants over the age of 100 participate in the walk. The energy in the building was exciting and everyone went the distance. Some tenants completed all four floors in less than 15 minutes. All that training paid off.

We were joined at the event by local dignitary Honourable Jim Rondeau, Minister of Healthy Living Youth and Senior’s, and the Winnipeg Fire Department. We thank Captain Aaron Janzen and his crew for their assistance. We thank them for coming out and supporting this event.
