Rutherford Heights Retirement Residence

Our competition at Rutherford Heights featured 24 bowlers battling for the medals.

 

Mrs Millie Sheppard never came to play Wii bowling and today she made her way to the final round and finished at the fourth place, but she was not disappointed, “ I will be back, I am happy here” she said before she left.

 

Our bowlers were joined by Alberta 55 plus who bowled, cheered and joined the festivities.

 


 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Summerwood Village Retirement Residence

2nd place: Dolly Jyunic

3rd place: Nora Alexander

 

Our competition at Summerwood Village featured 32 bowlers battling for the medals.

 

Dennis Newman, being a very avid Wii Bowler, showed us how practice really does make perfect. Dennis bowled 4 strikes in our National Final Round!

Out of our 32 participants today, 11 scored at least one strike this morning! Way to go!!!

 

Today we will be having the Sherwood Park Karate Club come in and help hand out medals before Dinner. George Mandalin came in for entertainment this afternoon and we had a packed house! Steve Zwack, Manager, TD Canada Trust from 10:30am-12 p.m.,

Christie with Flight Centre’s -10:30am-2pm, and Mike with Greet and Feet - 10am-2pm came in for the day  as well for our games.
