Card Games Galore: Alberta Day 3 Results and Medals

Day 3 a big success. We had participants from Alberta 55 plus group and St. Joseph’s Day Support Program. Today’s competition featured all together 53 participants.

Crib:

We were joined today by Mr Will Reese one of the crib players, who also publishes and writes his own children’s books.  The residents and participants also enjoyed his many tales.

Our competition at Summerwood Village featured 69 Card Game and Board Game Players battling for the medals.

 

Agnes Roberge and Nadine Hooper broke their personal best bridge record of 5690 to

7430!  We had a wopping 30 residents out for Uno!!

 

Today, there were two Violin players who serenated the corwd prior to the awars,and help hand out medals before Dinner. Juliegh Oganski came in for entertainment this afternoon and strummed us several tunes on her guitar for the residents!! Excellent turn out! Jo-Anne Bagan with Remax 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.and Tanya Brinksworth with “The Crafters Barrel” came out and set up information booths for our Seniors. Such a great day!!!
