Final preparations are under way for the 8th ASC Seniors Games. This year’s event will be held at 28 All Seniors Care Living Centres Retirement Residences from February 6th – 10th, 2017. All Seniors Care Living Centres will again provide thousands of older adults an environment of friendly competition to stay healthy, active and maybe bring home the “Gold”! Building on the success of the previous seven Seniors Games in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Brandon, Winnipeg, Stratford and Ottawa, we are proud to announce the additional Games venues in Calgary, Winnipeg and Ottawa.

“The ASC Seniors Games have become an annual, weeklong showcase of the active and vibrant lifestyle our residents enjoy,” explains Joshua Kuhl, Senior Executive VP of Operations for All Seniors Care. “We are proud to be able to once again host this great event which allows older adults to be active in a friendly and caring social setting.”

Inspired by Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations, our theme this year is “Celebrating Our Heroes.” All Seniors Care Event Planner and Games organizer Ronna Goldberg, felt that “All our residents have Heroes and in their own way are Heroes – they contributed greatly to building and protecting our country and we wanted to celebrate them.”

The ASC Seniors Games are the culmination of a yearlong effort of planning and hard work by a large team of employees and residents. All events are held indoors with the fun getting underway at around 10:30am each day and featuring a competition, awards ceremony, food and special guests.
