National Medalists and Competitors Beam with Pride

CANADA — The final day of the 16th Annual ASC Senior Games brought excitement and celebration to All Seniors Care Living Centres across the country. Competitors and spectators gathered to honor the achievements, camaraderie, and spirited competition that defined this incredible week. Chef de Mission, Rose F., 87, from College Park 2, captured the spirit of the event during her closing ceremony speech: “This week may have been cold outside, but inside, it was warm with cheerfulness, excitement, and a sense of community.” Rose was surrounded by her peers, including Jean, 102-year-old silver medalist, and Nicole Sarauer, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), highlighting the vibrant community that these Games foster. The 16th Annual Senior Games create a sense of pride and community among all participants, from the inspiring opening ceremonies to the emotional closing celebrations. As the curtain falls on another remarkable year, the ASC Senior Games continue to exemplify the power of active living, friendship, and community among older adults.
