Canada – Preparations are underway for the 10th ASC Seniors Games. February 4th – 8th, 2019 when thousands of seniors will enjoy an environment of friendly competition while staying healthy and having fun during the winter months at 30 All Seniors Care Living Centres across Canada. For 51 weeks out of the year, our activity calendars include: dance classes, walking clubs, Wii Golf, Wii Bowling, Bocce, Billiards, Shuffleboard, along with many card and board games. The 52nd week is the ASCSG, the culmination of the year of training and dance practices.
With Opening Ceremonies less than a month away we are getting ready by enjoying Spirit Week Pep Rallies at all buildings where our residents and staff will be treated to special afternoons of dancing, laughter, and wonderful memories of the past 9 ASC seniors Games. All are welcome to join us to for this experience, simply call to register.
Meet our Chefs de Mission, team leaders from across the country that are dedicated to making the 2019 All Seniors Care Seniors Games a wonderful experience for all participants. As volunteers from among our residents, they are key members of our Games Organizing Committees who serve to create an environment so their team can focus on enjoying the competition and achieving personal best performances. Helping the Chefs are volunteer Sport Assistants, we will be introducing them each day and getting a sampling of their event!
Jan 15th Wii Bowling – a “Taste of Wii” where everyone gets a turn!
Jan 16th Bocce / Petanque and Billiards lots to try!
Jan 17th Wii Golf and Shuffleboard now that is affine combination!
Jan. 18th Board & Card Games followed by a special movie presentation of Mary Poppins
